Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Misty is a purebred, 3 year old, 65 lb, beautiful light gray, spayed female, Weimaraner. She has been raised in a very loving home, but they can no longer keep her or their other Weim Molly, and they must find new forever homes now. Below is what her home had to say about her and what she knows:
Misty graduated from basic dog training at Pet Smart. She loves children, is very sweet, calm, and obedient. She loves being in the company of people, although is not a needy dog. She enjoys hikes in the mountains off the leash and will come when called. She likes sleeping in a kennel, but does fine on a dog pillow. Her favorite past time is chewing plain raw hide bones. She is an inside pet, but enjoys the outdoors on nice, warm days.
These are the commands that we have taught her: Sit, Lay down, Down- to get off you if she jumps. No Bites-either grab her mouth or just tap her nose Wait- example if you open a door and you want her to come, but you want her to wait inside the house of car so you can get out first and see what is outside the door. Wave your hand in front of her face and say wait and she should stay until you call her. Stay- she kind of will, but it is more like wait. Come (or come here) - she will usually come to her name, but if she is really distracted she comes very well to a loud whistle if you can whistle loud. Get back- if she is in the way of something and you want her to get back such as a door so you can open it, say get back and she will move back. Get in or get up or down- to get in the car or up or down off of things for that occasional time that she will get on the couch. Go lay down- pick a spot where you want her to go and when you say this she’ll go to the same spot every time. Kennel- to go lay down in the kennel.
Words she knows the meaning of: Are you hungry?, Outside, Out (when you want them out of a particular room, say out and point), Eat your food, Let’s go (she gets very excited when she hears these words and might start jumping up)
