My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crystal is a young adult brindle who's shy at first, but when she gets to know you, be ready for that tail of hers to start wagging! She was found running stray in Carrollton, so we don't know what her life was like before her March 10 rescue. She loves riding in the car, and her favorite pastime is playing with other dogs, especially her pal Pooh Bear, a pup who shared her kennel at the shelter and was rescued with her. They wrestle together -- she even lets Pooh Bear grab her paws and face -- and they play a gentle game of tug-of-war with a rope toy. And when they have the run of the house, they chase each other from one end to the other!
Any time the whole pack is together in the living room, Crystal will come up to her foster people for some ear-scratching or a hug. She's an affectionate girl, and might even give you a little kiss once she gets to know you.
Crystal is wonderful on a leash -- she heels without being asked, staying right by your side the whole time. She's fully housebroken, and is getting comfortable with the crate, where she hangs out when her foster people aren't home. She has a clean bill of health from the vet, who discovered that she's already spayed. She's on preventives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and has had her rabies vaccine and distemper/parvo booster, too. She is also very patient with toenail-clipping and ear-cleaning.
