Precious Polly! This precious dachsund is only 2 years old and weighs about seven and a half pounds, but has rheumatoid arthritis. Her immune-mediated polyarthritis was likely caused by vaccines and she will have to stay on medication to prevent relapses. No further vaccinations are recommended for her. She is on prescription food and some supplements as well as two medications. Potential adopters must be willing to continue her medications and also her vet/chiropractic/acupuncture treatments Polly gets along well with other dogs and loves to lay in a sunny spot and play with her chew toys. Dachsund experience a must! Polly will miss her best bud Duffy, who never woke up from his liver shunt surgery on June 17/10 .
