Abby-CO's Story...
Meet Abby, a big puppy that just wants to be loved and showered with attention. She is probably about a year old and has lived in several different homes throughout her short life at no fault of her own, so she is hoping to find a permanent family this time. She would do well with a playmate, as long as they don't mind sharing the attention. Abby could benefit from some basic obedience to help her with her commands and manners, she doesn't realize how big she is! She does very well with women, but it takes her a minute to warm up to men. If you are patient enough to give her a day or two to get to know you, she will be your best friend. The gorgeous gal is being fostered in Kentucky.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby-CO, a New York Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in New York, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
