Emily's Story...
Emily is a 10 month old white and black female. We just rescued her from AC&C in NYC. They take in approx. 43,000 animals a year and most unfortunately are put down. When they called us for help we couldn't help but say yes. So this beautiful girl, Emily is now in our foster program waiting for a forever home. Could it be you? She is extremely sweet and loving. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, de wormed, tested negative for FELV and FIV and microchipped. If interested in adopting Emily please fill out an application and call us at 973-902-7515. Emily's adoption fee is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emily, a Wayne Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wayne, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
