Bear-KY's Story...
Can you imagine losing your family? How about losing your family AND being locked in an apartment for a week without any food or water. My name is Bear and this just happened to me. I am only a baby- at 1 years old. Animal control picked me up when a neighbor heard me crying and whining and smelled the smells from the apartment. Finally someone came in for me and I was so happy to see someone that I even forgot to be a protective Corso. I just went running to them! Now, I am living with a foster family who loves me so much, we play and snuggle, my foster sisters who are 8 and 2 are my best friends and shower me with affection. They aren't furry, but treat me like I am their real brother. I passed my temperament test with flying colors and am ready to go home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear-KY, a New York Cane Corso puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in New York, or seeking a Cane Corso puppy from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
