Bo's Story...
Hey! My name is Bo and I have just arrived in Calgary on April 18th, 2010 from LA! I am a Toy Fox Terrier x who weighs about 8 lbs and is around 1 1/2 years old. I can be shy with strangers and sudden movements make me nervous, but once you earn my trust, I am the sweetest dog you could find! I love to cuddle and sometimes wrap my forelegs around arms and fingers to try to get as close as possible! I am great with other dogs and once I am comfortable in a situation, my tail is always wagging! I love to go for walks and explore! I am good in the crate and am working on my housetraining. If you are looking for a loyal friend, I might be the one for you!

Please note that Little Mutts Rescue adoption fees are generally $400 for adults, and $450 for puppies. Includes spay / neuter, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchip, and a vet certificate of health (please note that if puppies are born in Calgary, we do not have a vet certificate to provide). If you are interested, please submit an adoption application - http://www.littlemuttsrescue.org/adopt/index.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Calgary Fox Terrier (Toy) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Toy) for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Toy) dog from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Toy) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Toy) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
