My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At 12-18 months old, Gizmo (or Gizzy) is one fuzzy looking puppy! He's very sweet with a slight stubborn streak - as when he's outside in the yard, he doesn't want to come back in when called, even when it's raining. He just loves it outside! But, since he's very social and doesn't like being all alone, he'll usually wander in only moments behind the other dogs. Gizmo loves to be talked to - and he understands the beckon of your hand to call him over to you. He gets along well with all the other dogs in the home, and the cats, too! When picked on by another dog (usually our alpha female who has to test every new dog coming into the house!), he would freeze, but not fight back - now he pretty much ignores it altogether and walks away. Gizzy is very content to lie at your feet and demands little. He's not quite sure HOW to play, but seems to love watching when the other dogs are doing it. Sometimes it seems he'll join in, but hasn't participated in much more than the "run up and down the hallway game" to drive foster mommy nuts! He does like rawhide chewies, though, and will go off by himself to partake in them so that aforementioned alpha female won't try to take them away. Smart dog! Gizmo is being fostered in south Jersey and his asking adoption fee is $300. E-MAILS WILL BE ANSWERED FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS!
