Marge Simpson's Story...
Marge Simpson here, coming through the TV waves to invade the hearts of millions! What a character I am! So full of personality, playful, animated and even a bit goofy… I am not all fun and games though, I have a protective side too, (which is really more of an ‘unsure and insecure side’). See, I need a pack leader not a push over. But don’t forget I am still just a babe so I can be fragile at times too. I love to play play play with other dogs, and I have even done well with the neighborhood cats! Since I can be unsure of strangers sometimes it is best that I find an active family without small children. I do promise to make a wonderful housedog, since I am housebroken already, crate trained too. I really am a nice girl trying hard to learn proper doggie manners- I just need the proper place to grow up and find myself. Are you the person to give this character a home? 2 years old-46lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marge Simpson, a Portland Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
