Flopsy's Story...
Flopsy is one of three bunnies that came to VPAS together. They were part of an unexpected litter, so now that Flopsy is old enough it is time for her to find a home. She grew up in a home with cats, dogs, kids, and other rabbits so she's fiarly used to having a lot going on, but she is still a little shy when meeting new people. She does not seem terribly bonded to any of the bunnies in her foster home and will likely do OK in a home where she is the only pet (although friends are always good.)

Flopsy is more Independent than her siblings, but she is equally as curious. She is not afraid to investigate her surroundings, and help herself to the furniture (after all, lounging on the sofa is what being a bunny is all about.)

If you'd like to know more about Flopsy, please email us at victoriapets@gmail.com; she is currently in foster care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flopsy, a Saanichton Himalayan was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Himalayan from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
