Hi my name is Skippy; my official name is Scrappy but I like Skippy so much better! I am 4 years old and weigh 12 pounds. Do you want to feel appreciated when you come home? Do you want someone to be happy to see you every time you're around? Are you looking for someone to curl up with and watch some TV? Would you like someone to go for long walks with? Would you like some soft sweet loving kisses? Then I'm your guy. I'm always happy to see my humans, and love to give soft kisses to let you know how much I love you! I love to take walks! My favorite past-time is curling up on the coach with you and watching TV. I'm good about asking to go out to potty in the yard. I prefer not to stay out too long - usually just long enough to relive myself - and will let you know once I'm ready to come back in. I walk very nicely on a leash. I also enjoy longer walks as a treat. I also do not like to go out in the rain (like most dogs). I actually get a little nervous when it storms, but will either stay by you or lay in my crate. I don't get destructive just a little scared. If you're gone for extended times, I'm good about using paper to potty on, so you wont find messes in the house. I do great when it's bath time, and will even let you clip my nails. I do great around the cats - if they let me close; I don't chase them at all. I'm not happy when there are other dogs around - they make me nervous when they want to play too rough, even if not with me. I don't not mind when the human kids (ages 7 and 10) are in my room playing. I'm even comfortable if they take me out to potty. I will chew on small rawhide bones and am not at all interested in playing with dog toys of any kind. I will give very gentle kisses when I know you're pleased with me. I like to have quiet time with you, and have learned to work for privileges - such as being on the furniture. I also know to "sit" to have my leash put on, and for food. I am a quiet dog and can get stressed if things are too chaotic. I do well meeting new people (adults and kids). I will need an owner who can be a leader to me and be willing to build my confidence as a good dog, as I can be a bit insecure. For more photos please
