Kassey's Story...
Kassey ( part of the K litter) Black Lab/Black Shepherd

At only 3 months old, this beautiful, sweet little girl has overcome many obstacles but is doing wonderful in spite of it! She is currently living with 3 other big dogs and two children under the age of 6 and she just adores each and every one of them. She is a very happy little girl but is not your typical jumpy puppy. She would much rather cuddle with you and get her belly rubbed. She is very affectionate and obedient and is already learning to tell you when she needs to go outside! She cries a bit when first kenneled, but eventually settles right down.

Do you have room in your heart for this sweet baby girl? For more information on Kassey please email her foster mom Lyn at bigdogsrulerescue@rochester.rr.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kassey, a Rochester/Buffalo German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
