Bonded Pair Green Cheek Conures

“ALEX & SAM”

Alex is a turquoise mutation green cheek conure and Sam is a yellow sided green cheek conure. These two have been together since they were babies and are about 2 years old. Sam is the more dominant and gregarious of the two and Alex is more reserved. Both birds are friendly and step up easily, but prefer women. They do not mind dogs, but they are not too sure about other birds or the children yet. These little guys eat very well and enjoy a diet of zupreem pellets with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Their favorite foods include strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, apples, grapes, tangerines, oranges, broccoli, carrots, corn and cauliflower, but so far they have eaten everything I have given them with gusto! They love to tear up paper and we are currently trying to figure out what other types of toys they like best. They have a little house that they like to have set up on a table and then they explore and play all over it! They also have a really nice large cage, a travel cage and a free standing play stand that came into rescue with them that they love. These two easy going birds are quiet, but have lots of personality and will make wonderful life time additions to a doting and playful family!
