Jamaka's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Jamaka's Story...
Jamaka is a 1-3 year old, 7 pound, long coat BRINDLE, Chihuahua. WITH a very scared girl attitude! She ended up in rescue after her mom had to rehome all but 3 of her dogs. Maka can be particular about who she likes. She is frightened of being mishandled, she needs to be left alone for several days to adjust prior to be handled. She will bite if cornered, and will need an Experienced Adult home only to handle her Chihuahua ways! A single person would be the best situation for her because she does pick favorites, and seems to prefer women over men. She gets along well with other dogs. Once she trusts you she is by your side 24/7! P>Loves to be with her person, and is so very sweet once she trusts you. Quiet and not at all demanding, but will let you know if she does NOT like what you want her to do.

Maka is crate trained, and potty pad trained. She is UTD on vaccinations, Spayed, HW negative and micro-chipped. Her adoption donation is $200.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jamaka, a Kokomo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Kokomo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Kokomo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kokomo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kokomo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kokomo paves the way for another one to be saved.
