Here's what the humans have to say about me:
8/22/2010: Scout has made his long journey north and his foster mom says that he gives a lot of kisses! He has met a cat and was very calm in doing so. Scout loves to watch the fish in the fishtank! Keep checking for further updates on this sweetie! Our vet estimates his age at approx. 6 years old.
6/13/10- Look at the new pictures of Scout in his foster home. Scout is such a sweet boy who loves to be loved, he even smiles. Scout LOVES to watch TV, his favorite show is "Animal Cops". He is such a goofy boy. He gets along with all of the other dogs his foster home, both male and females.
5/19/10 - Scout is a GORGEOUS albeit goofy English Coonhound who arrived at our partner rescue as a emaciated, scared dog wearing a hunting tracking collar.
With some obedience training to build his confidence, Scout has become a much more well-adjusted boy. He knows a few commands to boot - such as "sit" and "down."
He will never make a good hunting dog though as he is scared of loud noises and prefers the couch and watching TV to the great outdoors.
Scout is now ready for his forever home
Scout's ideal home will have a fenced in yard and be on the quiet side. Scout loves to go for walks (on leash) - but is also happy hanging out in the home with his human companions.
If you have the love in your heart and room in yor home for Scout - please drop us an email!
Scout is with a partner rescue in the south and unfortunately his life is in danger again. Will you consider bringing Scout into your life as a foster or permanent member of your family? Please contact us for an application today!
