Treston's Story...
Please meet handsome boy Treston!....a very sweet and happy boy who has just been rescued from a high kill facility along with many other nice young black dogs in our program. Treston is approx. 5 mos. and is already 73 lbs!. Treston has a wonderful disposition and is friendly to everyone he meets. We don't see any issues here and with love and guidance, this pup will be an awesome companion to some lucky person. Treston is crate trained and working on his manners in his foster home. We do not know his exact breed mix or how large he will grow. For more information or to receive an application, please email or call 478-956-4272

A NOTE TO OUR PUPPY ADOPTERS: We expect a lot from our puppy adopters because you are accepting responsibility for an animal that has a clean slate---we are looking for homes with flexible schedules and a commitment to have their puppy properly socialized through classes and obedience training...so that this puppy will not end up in the system like so many of our young adults.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Treston, a Glenburn Labrador Retriever/Irish Wolfhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Irish Wolfhound for sale in Glenburn, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Irish Wolfhound dog from a breeder in Glenburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glenburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glenburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glenburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
