My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

4 yr. old Miss Katie really should be called Katie Scarlett for her beautiful multicolored coat of mahogany, creamy brown, and black with gorgeous white front socks. She’s also Miss PPPP, for Pekingese Personality Plus Prancer. After eating and staking a claim to the nearest lap, walking is her favorite activity; she acts like a show dog with her proud, prancing step. Katie also loves obedience training – or is it the cheese rewards – and really struts her stuff when heeling, sitting, and staying. She’s crate-trained and totally housebroken. Katie is a talker, will let you know when she doesn’t like what’s going on, and is very possessive of her people. She is also very bright; you can see her wheels turning as she puzzles out what to do next. She’s very involved in the household, is fine with cats, and should be placed in a home that does not have children or big dogs. Her ideal home would be with a single person where she could take her rightful place as adored queen of the household. Katie is being fostered in Delaware and her asking adoption donation is $200.
