My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apollo is a sweet and gentle, 8 month-old Rat Terrier mix boy. Apollo came to our rescue as an owner surrender from a kill shelter. We took in Apollo because, although timid at first, we saw the sweet and friendly dog he is already becoming. On intake, Apollo weighed 15.8 pounds.

Today, Apollo is a low-energy boy. He is in a foster home with multiple other canines and enjoys his playtime outside. He is learning his place in the pack and in the short time he has been with our rescue, he has gained more confidence and is learning to trust humans.

What a perfect home would have: The ideal home for Apollo would be a loving, active home with a fenced-in yard. His adoptive family would need to continue to build his confidence. Another confident dog would be ideal for Apollo so he would have someone to learn from.
