5-29-10: Ace's foster mom has given us a wonderful update on this gorgeous boy! She says that he is doing GREAT in her home. With the beautiful weather we have been having here, they have discovered that he is a swimmer! He was out chasing a ball in the lake and then got into deep water and discovered that he could swim!

Ace is a very smart boy and a very quick learner. He has learned to sit, stay, come, leave it and drop it. He loves kids and other dogs, and is ok with dog-savvy cats as well!

Ace is very alert to his surroundings and will give notice when he hears a strange noise outside of his house.

He is now getting used to going for car rides and is starting to enjoy them, settling right down in the vehicle.

5-7-10: Ace is a unique mix of Labrador Retriever and Hound and is about two years old. We love his gorgeous brindle coat! He has a happy-go-lucky personality that is so endearing! He is a great walking companion and loves to play. Ace has an eager-to-please manner that should make him easy to train. He knows the sit command.

Ace is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. He is always ready to sit by your side, and especially enjoys flopping around in the grass. We imagine he will really enjoy all the snow in New England! Ace does well with people of all ages and gets along with other dogs. He was polite to the cats we introduced him to.
