My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She came to us with the name Mary but we have recently had a dog named Mary so to keep our records straight, we 'renamed' her Frannie, but I call her Mary as well. She's good with both names! Frannie is a super sweet chihuahua gal whose family lost their home and couldn't take her to the apartment they were moving to. Except that she lost her home, she's a winner for sure. Frannie is a black and white smooth coat chihuahua. We think that she is about 6 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. She's affectionate, she's sweet, she's house trained and crate trained. She walks pretty well on leash but has a tendency to pull. She is very loving to everyone. She is great with the other dogs in her foster home and very well behaved. When she came into foster care, she acted like she lived with us forever. There was no adjustment period. That's a sign of a self confident dog, in my eyes. Frannie enjoys being on your lap but she can amuse herself as well. She loves being outside in the yard. Her favorite place to lay in the house is the back of our chair to watch out the window. Honestly, I can't think of one negative thing about this girl. She's a real peach. By the way, that chair that she's on now- it's the chair that belongs to the dogs. As you can see, they've pretty well destroyed it but, hey, it's their chair!


Frannie is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventive, is microchipped and has had a dental cleaning. Even with all of this done, her adoption fee is only $200. Such a deal.
