My name is Manley!

Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer Mix Dog for adoption in Youngwood, Pennsylvania - Manley

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Manley's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Manley's Story...
Manley appears to be a blue-nose Pit Bull, and maybe a little bit of boxer...but we don't know who his parents are, so we cannot say for sure. He is a beautiful silver-blue color with eyes that match his coat that makes him look very handsome. His former owner was evicted from her apartment and left Manley behind. A good samaritan rescued him and brought him to our shelter. He is underweight and has some scars from possibly trying to squeeze through a chain link fence, but other than that, Manley is a happy, healthy young boy! He is friendly with other dogs and all people and ok with cats. He is high energy, being he is only about 8 months old. A special home is requested for Manley, so that he gets the needed attention, exercise, and discipline to help him maintain his loving temperment.

You can see some of our adoptable pets every Sunday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 4pm and some Saturdays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manley, a Youngwood Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
