Max (Adores people)'s Story...
Max was originally turned into a shelter as a puppy but could not be adopted out since he had a broken tail so a PAL volunteer picked him up before he was put to sleep. He was placed in a home where he spent his life until now. He owners both have serious medical problems and can no longer walk him. He will normally walk nicely on a leash but will pull when he wants to say hi to another dog, He is learning this is not OK for him to do. Max is a wonderful 5 year old Great Dane with a heart of gold. He loves to be hugged and kissed.
A Great Dane is an enormous commitment and will only be placed in a home that understand all the the special needs they have. Please email for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max (Adores people), a Stafford Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
