Tori's Story...
Meet Tori! She is such a sweet-natured, calm & observant girl, just turning a year old. Tori has a beautiful tortoiseshell coat with a touch of tan on her back paw. She's very social and enjoys following you around to see what you are doing. She enjoys evening lap visits, especially if you have a fleece blanket! She loves playing & drinking water from the bathroom faucet. She's fine with the dog, children and other cats in her foster home. A bit shy of strangers at first, but fine once she knows you. She will do fine with someone at home or with another kitty playmate. If you're looking for a gentle, low-maintenance companion, look no further than Tori!

Tori's adoption fee of $115 includes: vet exam, Feline Leukemia/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tori, a Mt. Prospect Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
