Jessie's Story...
Hi, I am a beautiful black lab named Jessie . I came in as an owner surrender! My DOB is 05/15/08. I'm not sure why they brought me. In the shelter notes it said I was housebroken, very friendly and current on all my shots. I have been told I am a beautiful black, silky, color. I love to play and would make a great family member. I do like to play very hard, so I may needs older kids in the house, so I do not run them over! When you are out and about, please stop in and say hi! I'll be waiting for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Lake Odessa Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
