My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mara was taken in by our rescue from someone who
had her mother and her siblings. Unfortunately, she
sustained an eye injury which resulted in the loss
of one of her eyes. She is a very sweet and loving pup and is a bit on the small side. She is crate trained and likes her crate. She is
currently working on house training and it's going well.
She gets along with the other dogs at her foster home
and is learning to live with the cats, although she likes
to bark at them she might just want to play. If you tell
her "no" she listens. She is working on learning the
commands such as sit and stay and will usually
stay right by you if you call her. She knows "down"
and is very smart. She loves to cuddle with you and
sit next to you on the couch. Mara loves her chew toys
and has never chewed on anything besides her treats
and toys. She is going to make someone a very loyal
pet. She sits in the kitchen with her foster mom as
she cooks and will lay by your feet. She wants to be
near people. She rides very well in the car and travels
very well. Mara also walks very well on a leash for
being so young. Her mom nicknamed her Cookie
because she loves her cookie dog treats.
She needs a home that can provide her with a lot of love and attention and great care. Birth date 3/6/10
