North's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

North's Story...
North is a pure bred American Fox Hound that is approximatley 4 years old. He was found running along the beach with his partner, Julip, and two Billy Hounds. All appear to be pack hounds that were abandoned. Although he is a little shy with men, North does not show any agressive behavior. North is a handsome hound that will need a very patient owner who will work with him to get him accustomed to a home situation and one that will give him a opportunity to get the exercise he needs.

North is shy with children and should be placed in an adults only home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

North, a Peconic Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Peconic, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Peconic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peconic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peconic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peconic paves the way for another one to be saved.
