Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yes, we named him Otter because he looks like one!
Otter is a 2-3 year old Dachshund X. He weighs only 11 pounds. Otter is shy at first when meeting new people but quickly warms up. He loves to be cuddled. Otter is great with other dogs. We will only be placing Otter in a home with older children. His current foster home has been working on his housetraining for the past few weeks and he's there! Otter responds really well to reward based training and will benefit from training classes with his new family.
Otter was abandoned at a shelter in Wasco county in California and has mild separation anxiety. He will do best in a multiple pet household or with someone that is at home most of the day. Otter is the perfect size for apartment dwellers or a house!
