Gidget's Story...
Gidget is a sweet and playful kitten that has the cutest crooked tail. You can see her short tail in the pictures, it goes up over her back and points toward her head. She has the silliest personality like her sister Emily and will chase you while you are walking and play with your feet. After a long day of playing she will cozy up in your lap and purr herself to sleep. She is good with other cats and has been around two large dogs. You can meet her at the Natomas Marketplace Petsmart on the Weekdays during store hours. Adoption fee $90.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gidget, a Sacramento Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
