Otto's Info...

Otto's Story...
Otto is a young 12-13 month old German Shepherd cross who was observed being abandoned by his previous owners near a park on the Columbia River. He waited for five days at the park within 100 feet of where he'd been dumped, hoping-against-hope that his "people" would come back for him. Finally, we managed to entice him to come with us and we're glad we did ! He is one of the most gentle, obedient and loving dogs we've come across in quite some time. The person who saw him being dumped named him "Otto" after the character in the movie "Gone In 60 Seconds".

He has been started on obedience training... actually he already knows quite a bit, but in Spanish, so we're teaching him how to "speak English".

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, he will come to his new owner neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225 which will help to partially offset the cost of his care and vetting.

He is presently living in a foster home in Kennewick, WA but transportation can be arranged to his new home virtually anyplace in the Pacific NW. To find out more about Otto, contact us at mikeyschance@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otto, a West Richland Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in West Richland, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in West Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
