Here's what the humans have to say about me:
#367 Hershey
Breed: Labrador Retriever
Sex: Female, spayed
Age: DOB: April 01, 2004
Personal: Hi! My name is Hershey, and I have a lot to offer. I am house trained, and I love being indoors near my favorite person. I am good with children, and I love to be petted and brushed; I even enjoy an occasional bath. I get along well with other dogs, and I love to run, play, chase, and wrestle with them. I love to go for walks, and I walk well on a leash; I especially like walks in the woods. I will sit when asked. I am intelligent, quick to learn, and eager to please. I would make a truly devoted forever faithful friend if you would give me the chance. Please contact Ahimsa Rescue soon if you can give me a good home.
Labrador Retriever temperament is as much a hallmark of the breed as any characteristic. It should be totally non-aggressive toward man or beast. It is intelligent, genial and gregarious. The "girls" when not tending puppies of their own make wonderful "aunties" and the "boys" make wonderful "troop leaders." They also make wonderful baby-sitters for children of all ages. In groups they have a tendency to play hard.
