LIGHTNIN's Story...
LIGHTNIN' came with this name...and we think it's because she likes to "explore" !! She is a beautiful, tri colored 14 lb (full grown) 1.5-2 yr old female Shih Tzu who recently had puppies. She is interested in everything and so playful....she is just wonderful. She loves to play with Ruby!! We think they could be sisters. came from a home situation where the guardians were "accidently" breeding and keeping all the dogs -- 40 of them! They were their kids....and truly were in surprisingly healthy condition. LHH was asked to come in before AC confiscated them. We were able to pull 11 dogs and have 7 for adoption on our site. Like the other puppies, Lightnin needs training, she is great with other dogs and needs a canine companion. SO CAL ADOPTIONS ONLY. Please complete the application before calling. Why Adoption is a Great Option

LIGHTNIN, a Los Angeles Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
