My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy, is the mother of the puppies. When Lucy was close to delivering the pups, someone threw her away in a commecial dumpster. The trash man found her and discarded her in the desert where she delivered six puppies. Two didn't survive.
Lucy was given hand outs every once in awhile and did a good job of caring for her puppies. They are fat and sassy, Lucy is skin and bones.
Even though humans have not been kind to her, Lucy is still gentle and good natured. She is shy, but not afraid of humans. Lucy has not shown any signs of aggression even when strangers are handling her babies.
Lucy is now getting plenty to eat and enjoys spending her time relaxing in the shade. She has a calm, quiet nature and is more than willing to give humans another chance.
