Rocky's Info...

Rocky's Story...
Rocky is one great big beautiful boy. He is a gentle giant, though. He seems to love everyone he meets and gets along with most other dogs.

Rocky was picked up as a stray in Turlock, California. He was a favorite of staff members at the shelter. The staff was devastated when word came down that all the big dogs were to be put to sleep because of budget issues.

Rocky was spirited away to Safe Haven with several of his other Turlock friends. We know now why he was a favorite. He is one loveable boy. He walks nicely on lead and even plays fetch.

For more information on Rocky, call 775-463-1842 or email barkdogsinfo@gmail.com. Rocky is scheduled to be neutered and will be brought up to date on his shots. He also has an appointment with the groomer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a YERINGTON German Shepherd Dog/Tibetan Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Tibetan Mastiff for sale in YERINGTON, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Tibetan Mastiff dog from a breeder in YERINGTON.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in YERINGTON already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a YERINGTON breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Tibetan Mastiff breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Tibetan Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in YERINGTON paves the way for another one to be saved.
