My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fred is an absolute angel of a cat--he's a beautiful orange guy who, while he is very shy at first and will need time and patience, is amazingly gentle and loving once he gets to know you. Fred has been at the shelter for a very long time, but still deserves a wonderful home all his own!

Fred requires an understanding person or family that will realize he needs to adjust and come out of his shell at his own pace. He would not do well in a place with a lot of noise or constant change, but would be a great pet for an older person needing companionship, or a quiet couple without young children. Fred loves other cats and would be thrilled to have a gentle kitty cat or two in his new family!
