Caramel's Story...
Adopted; not available (5-2010). Original bio: Puppies!!! We have 7 Yorkie mix puppies available for adoption. We rescued them & their Mommy from a terrible situation. They are 10 weeks old now & can be adopted to their forever homes, but it will be part of their contract that they be returned to be spayed/neutered when they reach the appropriate age. Sorry, but we have no idea what breed(s) the Daddy is. Their Mom is a bigger Yorkie at 12 lbs. & these puppies will all be larger than standard 5-7 lb. pure-bred Yorkies. The pups are adorable, happy & healthy. All have had their tails docked. This little girl is Caramel. Her coloring is beautiful. She's a smaller female & she's very affectionate & playful. All the puppies are very socialized. They are great with other dogs & even with children. We will adopt to families with children, but the children must have animal experience & know how to properly treat a puppy/small dog. Homes with at least 1 other small dog are highly desirable. Their adoption donation is $450 & includes the rest of their puppy vaccines, microchip, deworming, & the spay/neuter. If they have any puppy teeth remaining at the time of their spay/neuter, we will also remove those at our cost.

Please read our adoption guidelines below to be sure you qualify to adopt from us. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caramel, a Orange Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Orange, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
