Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tippy is a beautiful silver Persian with the most beautiful blue eyes that look at you with so much love and adoration once he trusts and is comfortable with you. We first thought he was a Himalayan because of his big blue eyes, but he doesn't have any color-points, his ears, legs and tail are very light.
Tippy came to us from a high kill shelter and was very scared from the experience.
He was very withdrawn and depressed at the shelter so no-one wanted to adopt him.
Once in a home environment he relaxed quickly and came out of his shell and is now the most affectionate and loving little boy. He will stand up on his back legs just to reach your hands. He will rub along your legs and he will not get tired of being pet.
He will talk back to you every time you talk to him, he has a very cute little voice.
He is still getting used to sitting on his foster moms lap or being picked up, I think it will only be a matter of time since he is not used to it. He is very gentle and loving, but also very shy until he gets to know you. Tippy is starting to play with feathertoys now and loves to roll around with a catnip cigar. He eats mostly wet food, he loves it, but nibbles also on dry food. Its good that he has an appetite now since his stay at the shelter made him loose his appetite and he was very skinny when he came to me. He is gaining weight quickly now and looking rounder every day. Since Tippy was very matted he needed a lion cut to get him all cleaned up. His coat will grow in beautiful and thick but will need to be brushed to prevent mats. His eyes are not the teary kind, occasionally they need to be wiped with a warm washcloth.
At this point he is not comfortable with other cats, he gets scared when they approach him even though they are very friendly. He then hides in his house, and won't come out of it. When he goes to his new home it would be best to keep him in a room for a while to make him feel safe and to bond with him, since he will be shy at first.
Tippy will be best in a quiet adult home so he can feel safe and be happy.
I know he will make you very happy, I get to feel his love and adoration every day.
He is truly unique!!!
