Lucas's Story...
Lucas is a super-friendly, never-meets-a-stranger, dog – very happy-go-lucky and adaptable. He’s kind of a goof – he’s sure to make you smile – and he will sure love up on you! He likes to hug AND kiss! He walks very well on leash and is mindful. He is wonderful with other dogs and doesn’t mind our cats at all.
Lucas weighs 57 lbs and is about two years old. He and his brother Clark came to us from a shelter in SC. They love each other but can be adopted separately.
We’d love for you and your family to meet Lucas. He’s great with kids! The first step in our process is the adoption application which you can request by emailing cedarfarm@yadtel.net If you have any specific questions about Lucas or our adoption process feel free to give us a call at (336) 251-8877.
Lucas is neutered, up-to-date on his shots, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He is crate trained and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucas, a Mocksville Foxhound/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Collie for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Foxhound/Collie dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Collie breeders who help with Foxhound/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
