Ashleigh's Story...
Ashleigh - D.O.B.: 04/05/2010

Ashleigh is an identical black twin to Abby, but has a very little white patch on her neck. She is the active twin, always wanting to play and looking for fun with whatever is in site. She also likes to follow you all over the house to be near you. She is very sweet and always wants to know what you are doing and getting in the middle of it. She rubs all over your hands and face to get attention, and is purring the whole time. I would love for these two girls to go to a home together, they are so attached, no one would ever be lonely with these sweet kitties. Please adopt them both.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashleigh, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
