Cloie's Story...

AARF only adopts in Richmond, Virginia.

I was brought in to a pound with NO mommy, at three weeks old. AARF stepped in, and started nursing me. I was born on March 11, 2010 and I am ready to find my new family. I am part pitbull, so I will need to find a family that understands that breed. But don't let that stop you, from adopting me!! I love other dogs, children of all ages. I military crawl up to my dashound friend and try to play with her. She is the boss of the house! HEEHEE So she keeps me in line!! I am very sweet and loving! I have watched all my foster brothers and sisters, leave and go to their new homes, I hope, I will find a loving family for me!! I love my foster family, but I know, I can't stay here forever! So, please consider looking at me!! You won't be sorry!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cloie, a Richmond Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
