We have 1 adoption application under review for Harry. Harry is a remarkable young chihuahua mix pup. Harry came into the group in late March suffering from a bad case of demodex mange which left him almost completely bald and very depressed. As soon as he arrived at his foster home, he quickly perked up and let his foster parents know that he is a wonderful boy. He is now completely done with his treatment and ready for a family! As you can see from his pictures, he truly is "hairy" now!
About Harry's personality -- he's wonderful! He is spunky and likes to play like most puppies do, but he is also very much a cuddler and loves to sit in his foster parents' laps to receive lots of affection. He is crate-trained and housetrained! He likes to play with the other dogs in his foster home, big and small. He is a happy guy with a lot of love to give. Sometimes if he gets really stressed out, like when you're clipping his nails, he will grab at your fingers with his mouth to say help, stop! so we would prefer to have him in a home with older children, if any, that are familiar with how to handle a small dog gently. He is still a puppy, and like most puppies, he would benefit from attending basic obedience class to start off on the right foot. He has not shown any destructive puppy habits, and with proper attention and puppy-appropriate toys, that should continue. Harry is a wonderful little dog who will make someone very happy, so please fill out an application for him today!
Adoption fee is $200.
