Bess's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Bess's Story...
Bess came to us from a breeding kennel. Though she had never really seen a couch before in her life, she made friends with one right away. She has since discovered toys and tennis balls. She is also learning to play with other dogs, and she is having a great time learning. Bess is the master of the beseeching look to get herself out of trouble when she has been chasing the cats. She has been around kids a bit they seem to make her nervous, but she has never nipped at them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bess, a Ft. Collins Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
