Acer's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Acer's Story...
One of a kind dog with an energetic outlook on life! She is 110% housebroken, very low maintenance (short short hair), and beautiful. She has a clean cut profile, with an elegant head, a smooth, ground covering gait that is light and floating. For someone who might want to dabble in training a dog to hunt, here she is. She has her nose to the ground constantly and would make someone an exceptional walking-jogging partner AND since she is very trainable, a hunting enthusiast would have a worthy "student" to work with. This dog is full of energy WITHOUT being hyper. She settles down in the house after a vigorous walk or games in the yard. If YOU have the energy to get out there and enjoy the outdoors, here is the partner you have been looking for. Call today and arrange to visit with ACER. (I had listed her as a coonhound mix but after much thought, we definitely feel she is a German Shorthaired Pointer mix. She fits the profile to a tee. Her mix is very influenced by the GSP.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Acer, a Earleville German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie for sale in Earleville, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie dog from a breeder in Earleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Earleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Earleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Earleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
