SASHA's Story...
Sasha was picked up a stray after having an altercation with a goat. Siberians can tend to have a high prey drive so Sasha would probably not do well with smaller animals. She is friendly toward people and appreciates attention. Life on the streets is no easy time for a dog. Poor Sash would love to have a home and family who she can count on to take good care of her. Please give her the start in life she is hoping for because YOU can make all the difference in this girl's life -- but it's important to act NOW, as this dog may be on borrowed time.
Your best (and fastest) option is to contact the shelter directly:
Morgan County Humane Society
Martinsville, IN

Calling is always preferable to emailing, as shelters are often understaffed and time is virtually ALWAYS of the essence! A phone call to the shelter can make a life or death difference! You can also contact Northern Lights Sled Dog Rescue at for a direct link to this dog's primary listing

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SASHA, a Various Locations Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Various Locations, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Various Locations.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Various Locations already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Various Locations breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Various Locations paves the way for another one to be saved.
