My foster home says: He is doing just great, we went to the dog park Sunday and he had a ball and no aggression. At home we went for a walk last nite and he is great on lead. He has discovered the bed and slept on my chest for awhile last nite before he got too hot. This morning he hopped up and crashed for a belly rub, gives lot’s of kisses. He is also VERY smart. He only watched one pup use the doggie door and he had it down. Thus he holds the record. He may have used one before. He has integrated well with the pack and there has been no positioning at all. We are amazed that he would be on the loose…oh well. PLEASE FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AT www.huskyhaven.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cloud Dancer, a Houston Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Houston, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
