My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is a 9-10 year old, twenty pound,Chihuahua mix. She was rescued along with her companion Dusty a 9-10 year old Malamute mix whose owner perished when Hurricane Katrina devastated the Louisiana area. Since these two dogs are older and closely bonded we are only adopting them out together, no exceptions. Honey and Dusty have endured so much in the recent months and are more than ready to join a stable, forever, home. Both dogs are laid back although Honey seems to be quite the talker. Honey is almost completely housebroken but will have an accident if not taken out regularly. Their previous owner was an older woman, so we are looking to place them in a similar adult only home, preferably where they can be with someone most of the day. In the prime of their life everything they knew was taken away, now all we can do is offer them a new start with a new loving family.
