Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lancelot is a red tabby Persian male who we rescued from a local high kill animal control shelter. He was so scared when we got him, that he acted as if he was having an out of body experience when I interacted with him. He was never mean or hissy, but he tended to stare straight ahead whenever I talked to him or petted him. He was hiding at first too. Maybe it had something to do with the disgraceful haircut he got at the shelter, where his owner left him all matted and dirty. Lancelot is getting so much more relaxed and braver. He no longer has to have his food bowl put in front of him to get him to eat.....he's right there when it's time for his food, and he has a very good appetite. Lancelot loves to play with feather toys, and he has the fastest reation time I've seen in any cat. When he catches the feather, he tries to walk off with it and won't let go. He's a lot of fun, a very entertaining cat. And his hair is finally starting to grow out, he will have a really full and vivid red coat in a couple of months. Lancelot gets along well with other cats, and would be a playful happy companion.
