I was born with a deformed foot and had to have it amputated at 4 mo old but it's never held me back as I've never known you were suppose to have 4 feet! My foster Mom says "Rhett is a great dog, very friendly and good natured. Seems to like everyone he meets. He is shy in unfamiliar situations. He loves to go for walks. He is not able to go long distances so he would not be good for someone who wants a jogging buddy but he does need a daily walk. He will stay in his kennel but prefer to out side if the weather is good. He sleeps in my room at night but should be crated or confined if left alone." PLEASE FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AT

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rhett, a Houston Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Houston, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
