Sandy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sandy's Story...
Sandy is about 5 months old (as of 2/19/06). She was found as a stray and no owners were located. Sandy is crate trained and potty trained. She is very smart and learning basic obedience. She gets along with other dogs. She is not afraid of the bigger, older dogs in her foster home, but respects them as she encourages them to play with her. If you would like to adopt Sandy, contact Diane at 954-816-0799 or via email at mail@strayaid.org for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Fort Lauderdale American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Lauderdale, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
