Lexi's Story...
Meet Lexi! Are you looking for a lab mix to keep you company on walks, entertain you with a goofy grin, and share your couch for a good movie? Then Lexi is the dog for you! This sweet girl loves everyone she meets – human and canine alike – and would love nothing more than to have a home to call her own.

Lexi is new to the shelter, so we are still learning about her, but we know she will make a wonderful addition to some lucky family. She could use some work on her leash manners, but we understand that it’s hard to keep all of that lab energy contained when there are so many new things to discover.

Could yours be the family to make Lexi’s dreams come true? If you would like more information about her, contact her adoption consultant, Sherri, at 440-236-6562. Or, come visit Lexi at the shelter. She loves visitors!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi, a Berea Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Berea, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
