Castiel's Story...
Meet Castiel! True to his name, this is one angelic little yorkie! Around 3-4 years old, this little man is looking for his forever home. Castiel is charming his way into everyone’s heart with his charming personality and perfect yorkie attitude. He is playful, affectionate, and he loves everyone – people and other dogs too. Castiel will happily go for walks or play with his toys, but he’s happiest just hanging out with people. A true lap dog, he just loves to cuddle! In fact, he will leap right out of his cage and into your arms if you give him the chance. What more could you ask for in a little companion?

Castiel can’t wait to find his forever family. In return, he promises to be a great companion for years to come. If you would like to make Castiel a part of your family, come visit him at the shelter or, contact his adoption consultant, Lisa, at 440-243-1245 or at lmjolivares@gmail.com for more information. Castiel can’t wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Castiel, a Berea Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier for sale in Berea, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
